What is Veganuary?
If you are looking to transition to a plant based diet, or need tips for a plant based diet for beginners, Veganuary is a great way to start. Every year, Veganuary actively promotes the vegan challenge during the month of January. Although we hear more about them during the first month of the year, Veganuary works hard throughout the year as well.

One major aspect I find interesting about the organization is their approach to the climate crisis. In fact, they have gathered with scientists to send an important message to politicians during COP26. I assume they will continue to do so over the next years. It is noted in their letter that ‘Plant-based diets can reduce emissions by up to 50% compared to the average emission intensive western diet […] while also providing health benefits.’
